To provide the scheduling and management features of Post Ninja, we access specific data via the Facebook Graph API after you grant us permission:
- Basic Profile Data: Your name and email address to identify your account.
- Page Access Tokens: Secure credentials that allow Post Ninja to communicate with Facebook on your behalf.
- Page List: A list of the Facebook Pages you manage so you can select which ones to post to.
- User-Provided Content: The text, images, videos, and links you upload to our platform for the purpose of scheduling.
2. Use of Data
Acorn Media uses the collected information solely to facilitate the core functions of Post Ninja, including:
- Authenticating your access to the application.
- Executing the "Schedule" and "Post" commands at the times you designate.
- Providing a history of your posts and engagement metrics.
- Sending technical notifications regarding the status of your scheduled posts.
Note: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or Page content to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
3. Facebook Permissions
Post Ninja requests the following permissions to function correctly:
- pages_manage_posts: Required to publish posts and manage existing content on your Pages.
- pages_read_engagement: Required to confirm that posts have been successfully published and to view basic engagement stats.
- public_profile: Used for account creation and personalization.
4. Data Retention and Security
We retain your Page tokens and scheduled content only for as long as you maintain an active account with Post Ninja. We employ industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to ensure that your data is transmitted securely between your browser, our servers, and Facebook.
5. Data Deletion Instructions
You can manage or remove your data at any time:
- Removing the App: You can revoke Post Ninja's access by visiting your Facebook Account Settings > Apps and Websites.
- Deletion Request: To request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data from Acorn Media's servers, please email us at support@acorn-media.co.uk. We will fulfill all deletion requests within 30 days.
